	<title>Aluminum Smelter with integrated CFD data</title>

	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/153878/153878_1151289086_small.jpg"><br><br>This still is from an animation of a smoke plume changing colors based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) data. The trickiest part of this project was to import the CFD data into LightWave. The original vision was to use volumetric smoke and color the particles based on their concentration values. Unfortunately we couldn't find a way to efficiently import that color data into LightWave so it was decided to use the geometry of the smoke plume and animate the colors.]]>
